Another year in DC. Always fun. Always a new experience. This year with my boyfriend, the boys and our friend. We drove to East Falls Church metro and took the train downtown. We walked around the White House, sat in the park, went through checkpoints, walked up and down the National Mall and waited for the fireworks. Lines were long. Everyone was wet because it was raining on and off as usual. The fireworks were great... as usual. We had a great seat right at the end of the reflection pool. We spent hours walking the streets afterwards and waiting to get on the metro. Kids were sleepy but we made it home.
